Another GREAT Jardine Ski Run - the 23rd.

The 23rd annual Jardine Ski Run happened last Sunday, February 28th. The Bueter's took care of business in the girl's and boy's 8k with Laura posting the best girl's time at 40:50 and Jay nailing the top spot for boys at 33:59. Betsy Story and Hayden Blackford took the top of the podium for girls and boys 4k and Sawyer Smith edged out Liam Higgins in the Pee Wees 1 k. The Gardiner School is Now Making Power from the Sun!

The Photovoltaic system at the Gardiner School is up and running as of about 3 pm today, Earth Day - April 22, 2009. By 4 PM the first kilowatt-hour had been produced, and used, by the school. Over the 25 year guaranteed life of the panels we expect close to 70 megawatts of power.
